Joique Bell is currently a running back for the Detroit Lions. A native of Michigan, Bell grew up in Benton Harbor. Bell went on to play football at Wayne State before being signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Bell preformed not only at a college level but also at a professional level. He is an outstanding athlete and someone to watch in the coming years.


Bell entered the NFL in 2010, where he has played with multiple amazing teams. From the Bills, to the Eagles, to the Colts, to the Saints, and the Lions Bell has proved himself as an extraordinary player. Joique played every game with the Detroit Lions in the 2012 and 2013 season. Joique’s stats grew tremendously in the 2013 season, as he and Reggie Bush made NFL history by becoming the first running backs duo to both top 500 receiving and rushing yards.


Among Bell’s many awards and accolades, his stats also exploded throughout his years at Wayne State. Bell was honored as a winner of the Harlon Hill trophy in 2009. He was also a four time first team All-GLIAC selection.

These awards were result of his great performances. Bell had a career finish with 6728 rushing yards putting him 6th in D-II history, and 8th in NCAA history. He scored 576 points which places him 4th in D-II and 5th in NCAA history. Bell also became the 4th player in D-II history with two 2,000 yard seasons.
